Indeed, my current feed has ads for sneakers, an ab workout, meal prep recipes, and an Apple Watch\u2014all of which use imagery, not text, to sell the product. Pinterest, therefore, is a poor platform for, say, complicated B2B software.<\/p>\n<p>Last year, Pinterest reported\u00a0250 million users\u00a0and more than 175\u00a0<em>billion\u00a0<\/em>pins. The platform also shared that Pinterest users find Pinterest ads 1.4 times more relevant than ads they see on other social media networks\u2014which is reason enough to start advertising on the platform.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Snapchat: The Gen Z playground<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Like with Pinterest, B2C brands are likely to see more success than\u00a0B2B on Snapchat.<\/p>\n<p>If your B2C business has a younger demographic, you need to consider testing out\u00a0Snapchat ads. Comprising just\u00a01% of total digital spend\u00a0but used by\u00a027% of Americans, Snapchat provides a great opportunity to connect with a younger audience (among those 18 to 24, 78% use Snapchat).<\/p>\n<p><strong>LinkedIn: The professional network<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>LinkedIn advertisers tend to be B2B, and if that\u2019s your audience, you should definitely be testing ads here. But B2C advertisers can still see success thanks to all the work-based targeting options and the extensive network of\u00a0more than 560 million professionals. Indeed, you can target job titles, employees at specific companies, skills, pre-defined\u00a0interests\u00a0(like Computer Graphics or Organic Farming), field of study, education, and more.<\/p>\n<p>This makes LinkedIn a perfect outlet for, say, a luxury brand that wants to target high household income, which can be approximated by targeting job titles like CEO, VP, director, etc. And anyone with demographic segments like \u201cyoung professionals\u201d or \u201cmiddle-career engineers\u201d could easily reach these cohorts with LinkedIn.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Quora: The Q&amp;A platform<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Advertising on Quora might seem like a waste of time, but the Q&amp;A platform has over\u00a0300 million unique visitors each month. With its wide variety of topics, Quora applicable to pretty much every marketer\u2014all you have to do is\u00a0find your audience\u00a0and set up your ads.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reddit: The crowd-sourced crowd favorite<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>While some marketers will shy away from Reddit given past controversies, there is no debating its reach: Reddit is the\u00a0sixth most-visited site\u00a0in the world, with 234 million unique monthly uses.<\/p>\n<p>Like Quora, Reddit has a wide variety of topics\u2014there are\u00a0well over 1.2 million subreddits.
